Hello: Any recommendation on sealing valve cover?
Do i just use a cork gasket with or without sealant?
How about under the clamps/nuts that haold the valve cover on?

Try to always indicate which model jeep you have. The easiest way is to list your jeep model in your signature block which you can update in your profile.
M38A1 has two valve covers. Or technically a side valve cover and a top rocker cover. The M38 only has the side valve cover.
As a rule of thumb if the manual doesn't call for sticky stuff then don't use the sticky stuff.
If you have a damaged (bent or nicked) cover and feel the need to help the gasket out then only put the sticky stuff on the side of the gasket that faces the cover. This way when you pull the cover the next time the gasket comes with it and if by chance the gasket must be replaced you can easily clean of the cover at the comfort of your work bench.
What to use. Well the best all around stuff is the oldest all around stuff, Permatex #1. Stay away from RTV sealants.

The copper washer was the original installation. You can also find washers with an O'ring built into them.
