Shackle Pivot Bearing

Post by vuldub »

Is this bearing pressed into the spring? I'm going to replace the spring shackles (two of the grease nipples are missing and threads stripped -won't take an new nipple) and thought it might be worth replacing the pivot bolt and bearing.

Yes, I have those diagrams.
In this one:

Specifically, is "J" pressed into the spring? Threaded? Loose?
