LWB M38A1?

Post by oldgreentrucks »

Was there ever a long wheel base M38A1, not the M170 ambulance?

The imcdb identifies vehicles from movies. The link above appears to be a lwb M38A1. Never heard of it.

That's either an India (Mahindra) or Japan (Mitsubushi) licensed knockoff or a custom built.
Banco à Bangkok From the Wikipedia
Banco à Bangkok pour OSS 117 released in the USA as Shadow of Evil is a 1964 French/Itlaian international co-production Eurospy spy-fi film.

The film was shot on Thai locations and featured action scenes arranged by Hunebelle's stunt coordinator Claude Carliez with production design by René Moulaert.
Since it was filmed on location in Thailand my bet is Mahindra line.
