Image posting problem

I am still having problems posting images. I am using Flickr to post them. The first image I copied the address and pasted it and the image came out fine. Tried posting the same image and all I got was an address. I then copied the address from the original post (not Flickr) and pasted it in a new post and the image came out fine. What am I doing wrong?

This is why I recommend using our photo web site.

The Flickr site will not allow your photos to appear if the destination of the photo you are sending is not a member of Flikr. Also you must only use the url that flickr approves for posting a photo to another site. Web shots and all the other host sites can be a real PITA.

The photo in your first post did not come up as a photo at first. I edited a couple of days ago , so I went to flickr and opened that photo in a new web page and then copied that url to your post.

Thanks for the help, I seem to have better luck with photobucket. I tried to sign up for mypicgallery but got to a certain point and got no further. If you could help out with that I would use it because I assume it's easier. Thanks again

I belonged to mypicgallery from 2005 thru 2011 and suddenly they shut down with no notice. They have been off ever since.

I suggest you take the path opf least resistance and just use your photo album on our member's albums page.
