M38A1 vs CJ5 doors

Post by m37brat »

Are the door frames the same on the M38A1 and the CJ5. And how about the CJ7 door?

Were A1's of the foldable type like the M38?

Early doors were foldable. Eventually the supply system dropped the folding door and only stocked the solid doors. Just a reminder the M38A1's didn't leave Willys with side curtains and doors. Only the bows and the top. Side curtains, side bars and doors were added in the field as were the loops and strips for them. It was a kit. See my photo album page 2 sub-album Canvas.
