WWII vet Louis Zamperini passed away recently. RIP Louis.
Louis was the subject of Laura Hillenbrand's book "UNBROKEN, A
WWII Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption.
If you guys haven't read "UNBROKEN", it's a fabulous read.
Highly recommended.

As young 46 year old having never served our country in any of the armed forces, I could only hope to have a smidgen of Mr. Zamperini's fortitude and resilience.. Even if you are not someone who reads often (me), it is a MUST read for anyone on this site. You will not be disappointed! A salute to Mr Zamperini on such a fitting holiday,a man who I feel defines a veteran, fought and has the beliefs of our independence and gladly took on the responsibilities that come with it. Rest in peace.
