Anyone know someone who does restorations of M-38 dash data plates? I just assumed their might be someone who knows all the tricks to make these look new.
Thanks,

I lay the plate down flat , face up. I then degrease it with something like acetone. I put a medium coat of satin black fusion on it, covering everything. When it is dry, I scrape it with a razorblade at 90 degrees. (standing straight up) It takes the black off the raised lines and lettering.
