4 wire harness from regulator.

I know where 1 wire goes....to the starter which charges the batteries. Does it matter where the other 3 wires go...ignition switch, circuit breakers? Do the other 3 wires have th same voltage? The harness is labeled a,b,c,and d. I looked at Wes' photos and my manuals but I could not find a diagram that has the 4 wires labeled A-D. Thnx!

This photo, from my album, tells it all .

A = Wire #4 to starter terminal
B = Wire #8 to amp meter
C = Wire #10 to CB trio (early M38) or ignition switch (Late M38 & M38A1)
D = Wire #9 to Amp meter
