body/door question M38A1

Post by oreo3156 »

where the door goes into the tub, is there supposed to be a socket like holder to keep it from falling all the way down?

There is one on both sides for the side curtains, but not the doors.

(This is for the wire frame/canvass door.)

M38A1's came with only a top piece of canvas from Willys. No side curtains and no doors. There is a separate field supplied kit for installation of side curtains and doors. See my photo album: http://www.willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules. ... _album.php

There is a bolt on socket for it at point "A" and point "B"..

Image 4 of these come in the soft top kit.

Image The referenced sockets are the 6th item on this kit list.
