Sorry for the late response. I am not even sure I am doing this right. I am not very good on computers. Thanks for the info. Have gone into the albums and I guess Wes Knettle is the fellow you mentioned. Lots to look at so I will search there. Who knows there is probably many more answers I need there.

I am in the Pembroke area. Pretty lonely around these parts for military jeeps. There is one fellow besides me and he is no longer restoring jeeps. He did three M38A1s and is selling everything. I've seen another fellow who has an Iltis and an M38A1 but have not met him. So it is good the meet others.

Wow you are way out there, you are closer to willysacres than I am though. They are a parts supplier etc.
