Windshield channel bead for securing canvas top missing

Post by pickly »

I have a 52 M38A1 that I've finally got a canvas top for along with the bows, etc. I never noticed that I was missing the channel bead along the top edge of the windshield that the front of the canvas bead slides into. Looks like mine was cut and then ground down. Any ideas on how to recreate that channel part to secure my canvas to the windshield?

I don't think he has that but call John @ midwest military. He sells the side channels but I don't know about the front.
