In restoring my carb I noticed that the diaphram that has a long needle type valve is seemingly fixed into the brass receptical while the new diaphram receptical has a needle that is very loose and wooble. Is the right new diaphram for the carb. Thanks Jim

Two things will make this an easier question to answer.
1-Which YS carb are we discussing?
2-Which specific part are we discussing. A photo always makes this part easier. Pick a drawing and pick an item ID.
