Ever see this?

Post by timjuhl »

Has anyone ever seen a field modified M38A1 where they installed an eyebolt on the dashboard at the door opening so you could attach a safety strap similar to those used in the WWII Jeeps?

My wife doesn't feel totally comfortable with no door to keep her in.

Yes we see them occasionally. It's a good idea without doors for folks who may feel uncomfortable or young children.

Safety straps

Wes,
If you've seen them that's good enough for me! Now to find some OD straps.

Thanks!

I did it on my M38 utilizing an existing hole. The prototypes had them and they make sense on one level.
But my jeep is as a field modified combat vehicle - so whatever I feel like I would have wanted and whatever makes sense to me.
