a guy is selling this as a 60 CJ5 is it or is a M38A1 it has the slave hole no tail gate and M38A1 dash

Looks like A1 floor plates and the gas can carrier and spare bolt
holes are in the rear panel. I see some corrosion on the upper
right of the dash. Weird place for it.

Get a look under the hood?

Dash has the hole for the light switch -blanked with a plate
and a push pull switch in it's place.

Are you gonna bite?

i guess i need to take a ride look at the frame it was converted to 12v no big deal

Check those spots below the right door opening near the bottom. Under the
slave cable cutout looks like swelling.
Usually the first place you'll find rust on these old boys.
Also, right rear fender behind that reflector.

If it's there, take a look under the floor at the hat channels.

All that is fixable, depending on the work and your skills.
If most everything else is solid and the price is right...

Wonder if it has a heater, and if so, a military? It's pretty much
an A1. The cowl box lid is removeable. Spot welded on the
CJ. That's where one version of the civvy heater sits.

Heater, top, if it's got doors and drives, tool around in it all
winter and start making lists...

No it does not have a heater picking up a A1 this weekend that has a military heater in it runs off the water port one on top of the head and the other to the water pump

Well Roy,
That's mixed blessings. No heat, but somebody didn't carve up
the firewall to stick a civvy one in..
