1947 Windshield

Will this fit my 1952 M38? They say it came off a 1947 CJ2A. They want 300 bucks, OK price? I know it depends on condition up close. It's about a 3 hour drive.

It will fit well enough to act as a windshield but I would not pay more than $75 for a windshield that won't properly fit my jeep and is not the correct one for my jeep. The M38 Hard Top & soft top will not fit that windshield either.

This is the correct M38 windshield.

The last two M38 windshields I purchased were less than $150 without glass and wipers.

Are you in Washington state?

Don't forget to look for a CJ3A windshield frame. Nearly identical
to the M38, just missing a couple of bolt holes here and there
and probably full of civvy top snaps, but so was my M38 frame.

Thanks, I'm thinking of putting in an add for one. I know where I can get one for around 300.00. I would like to keep my price down if possible. We'll give it a try and see what happens.
