Nail pins ????
I don't know the exact name for them, but they are small pins with groves which are driven into metal to hold something on. I need some to attach the shackle pins to the chains.

Possibly rollpins ???.
Thats what I had going through the end of my shackle pins on the bumper brackets.
I replaced them with split pins as I could push the chain up the split into the round head.
But then I took the chains off because I relaised (I think) that the chains should be tack welded to the other end of the big shackle pin.
I know this isn't correct.
Hope that helps,
Dave

They usually are. You can order right from the web site a lot quicker. They have a nice system. It sends you an invoice via your email. and a shipping notice with tracking number as soon as it leaves their warehouse.

Dave,
They are used to hold data plates on. Usually on thick castings lik the block. You drill the reccommended hole and tap them in. They turn or screw as you tap them which makes them a little more resistant to backing out like a straight smooth pin.
