Willys M38A1 M170 Seam Sealer

Post by bl5211a »

Hello:

Does anyone know what portion of the body receives seam sealer, prior to final paint?

I sealed mine where the floor meets the sidewalls. The absolute most important areas are in the rear wheelwells where the rear tire throws water forward onto the little shelves. It basically funnels water into the toolbox and under the gas tank. I make sure and seal the corners and up the sides in there. Cool part is you can use a bucket with a small rag and water to smooth it all out very nice and professional. Once it dries, you are good to go. John
