Leaf Springs; what do you think?

I found these on ebay and asked if they are original. The response was yes but they don't look like mine. Specifically, the clamps are different. They actually look like reproductions. What do you think?

They looked to be an older replacement spring pack. The spring clips and the square edges give it away.
Have you tried Quarter Ton Military (QTM)--he is on ebay, just find an auction he has and email him what you need. I know where he gets most of his parts and he may be able to come up with some NOS or original used springs.

Thanks for the response and lead. PS: I discovered I've already talked with him. What I need is the main front spring. He has nos but with the groove in it. Aside from looking different than the original, is there any reason it wouldn't perform as the original?

Just rookie curious here, but are 10-leaf springs original to the M38? Odds are I'm missing something......and Wes will straighten me out pdq...

Yes, the M38 came with 10 leaf fronts. The CJ heavy duty fronts were 8 leaf.

Dang it! Thanks Wes! Should've looked at the TM first instead of my half-heimers memory (can't remember sh*t half the time). Ten in the front, eleven in the rear. Thank you Sir! May I have another?

I know the springs--a friend had a set on his restored M38 and they looked good. Unless you know to look for the groove you didn't notice it. They were military replacement springs made by a different manufacture--late M38A1 springs look just like them.
