I've searched this topic and have found results, unfortunately there a couple years old, trying to get up to date info. From my research, the r15 are newest replacement, but are a bit big on the fit side. In 2013 wesk said 22NF were best. Is there any others, or just those 2 ? Also does anyone use the 22NF, if so how do they do ?

Except for the overpriced and over rated Sealed and specialty batteries the info you found was as up to date as it can be kept.

If you stay with the stock battery box and trays then the few sizes mentioned are all the choices you will get.

If you are open to customizing your battery locations then it is just a matter of Physics and geometry.

I'm using the 22NF in both my M37 and M38A1
The hold down barely catches them but holds well even off road.

No problem with the batteries themselves.
One set is 5 yrs. old the other 1 year.
They stay on a 24volt battery tender when parked.
