M-38 oil filter needed

Post by layne »

I am looking for a complete oil filter for a late model M-38. Canister type preferred, but will consider a Cuno. I have the bracket that goes on the head, but need everything else.

Thanks

Layne,
All production M38's left Willys with Cuno's filters. The M38A1 used the Cuno the first two months of production then switched to the military junior. The Army eventually replaced most of the Cuno's with the military junior.

The serial cutoff listing in the M38 Ord 9 is an error.
