Calvin Ishmael, a long time surplus jeep dealer passed away a little over a year ago. He had a large warehouse of M38/M38A1 jeeps and NOS/used parts.

Calvin was a great person and also helped many individuals get their jeeps back on the road.

His brother sold some of the stock to Brent Mullins down in Texas - google Mullins Jeep parts.

I checked Mullins website - it is not updated as far as I can tell, so you may want to call if you are looking for something.

The last time I spoke with Mark Ishmael, Calvin's brother, Mark said they had sold the parts but not the jeeps they have there in Donaldsonville. They have many M38's and M38A1's that were bought at gov't auctions over the years and then stored in warehouses. If I was in the market for a M38 or an A1 I would check with Mark as you can find a pretty complete and well preserved example there.

Donaldson Louisiana north of New Orleans.

I spoke with Mark last week and he still has a lot of parts, but is gradually selling things off as they organize and go through each warehouse.
