Stock lug nuts size

Post by Jason86 »

Question for the experienced pros, did the 1953 m38a1 come from the factory with 3/4 or 13/16 inch lug nuts? Looked in the Ord 9 all parts book but it didn't list the OD size just thread size and quantity. Thanks.

Here's a hint. The lug wrench issued with the M38A1 was a size 3/4".

Most of those larger 13/16" hex nuts I have seen have the wrong angle seat for the tapered seat in the wheel. They are also usually too tall and won't leave any stud threads showing.
