M38a1 firing order

Hello:

Dumb question, can someone show firing order on distributor cap and is spark plug order on engine 1, 2, 3, 4 with 1 at the front?

The factory &/or the Army got the illustration in the manual wrong. Here's the corrected illustration:

Firing order is 1, 3, 4, 2

Thanks, is the block 1,2,3, 4 with 1 being closest to fan?

I know that I am a day late, but, not a dollar short. It is a point of interest that in the early 8014 manual (6APR1955), the distributor lead configuration (Fig. 79) disagrees with both Fig. 75 and 76. Both wiring diagrams have the correct placement and firing order. Imagine that.
