3 different m38 front bumpers /different hole configuration

I found these three different m38 bumpers. The hole configuration is different between them. The top one in the first photo is NOS and the lower is a takeoff. Granted two holes in the lower one are for a license plate added by a previous owner, but the hole configuration is definitely different. I have also seen pictures of bumpers with holes on each far end as seen in the bottom photo. The ORD 9 lists two bumpers

Both the early M38 bumper and the late M38 bumper used the military spec'd wood filler and retained it with 4 bolts.

Your top bumper is the early M38 PN 801386 and the bottom bumper is the late M38 PN 808969 which was also used on the M38A1 52 & 53.
