M38 Toolbox-Found!!!

Post by Eades »

I am in search of an elusive M38 tool box. The reproduction one the PO stuck in was awful and didn't fit. I removed it and now need to fill the void. If it is only the top, that's fine. Thanks for you the help.

Do you want the top, ribbed part the door fits in? I have rusty tub with a top in good shape,no door. The sides have good metal 2 to 3 inches down, but the bottom and the bottom of the sides are swiss cheese.

DJ, send me a picture. I am interested in just the top. I know Classic Industries sells the lower repair panels for the front and sides. Id rather have a good take out but you do not see many. Thanks!

Ok,give me a couple of days,to get the picture thing figured out again. I also came out of retirement to volunteer on the historic train rides a couple of days a week, now they asked if I could do four or five. Fixing a 1940s train car is a little different than a 1950s jeep.
