Differential fluid question

Post by jeeptj1 »

I’ve looked and read all the opinions on the different thoughts on this. So my question is just a simple yes or no answer. Can I use 90 weight mineral oil gl1 api in my differentials. I have a couple of gallons of it and don’t want to waste it. Thanks John jr. 1952 M 38

Wes, Can I use the 90 gl1 mineral oil in the tranny and transfer case? From reading the million threads, I’m pretty sure it’s ok but would like the yes or no. Thanks. John jr.
