M38 Rear Cross Member Inner

Post by Coolaru »

The rear cross member reinforcement inner on my M38 is pretty crusty and I would like to replace it. Anyone know the location of the welds holding it in?
Thanks

You should start by sand/glass bead blasting that entire area first. This will allow you to see the welds. You can also peruse my M38 frame sub-albums.

Wes, Thanks for the info, advice and pics. If the weather holds, I guess I will be doing some blasting.

Midwest Military manufactures all of those pieces in the photo and has them in stock.
