How'd that tag line grab you? Ok, a little "bait and switch" for the sake of some hobby nostalgia entertainment.

I came across this ad printed in the Chicago Tribune almost 75 years ago on October 13, 1946.

Just for fun, I ran the prices through the inflation calculator:

The New Motor at $157.50 is $2,223.81 today.
The Government Rebuilt Motor at $129.50 is $1,828.47 today.

Things ain't so bad! :lol:
