Wow very noticeable how much taller the MM kit needle plunger is compared to the RF kit.
Also the diaphragm springs as well. Very different.
Well from my recent saga its quite clear the needle and plunger in the MM kit are just too tall to allow fuel into the bowl even after flattening the float tab all the way. Thus I returned to the needle and plunger I had existing and adjusted a higher tab than manual spec to achieve proper operation.
Do you have an opinion as to which kit is better for any reason?
I have used the MM kits (which I also understand is the DeBella Army Jeep Parts as well) since they came out and the old blue box china junk before that.

Ron F has not been able to re-stock for the YS637S & YS950S carb kits. It appears there are still several kits out there for the YS950S. AJP, Kaiser Willys and of course MWM. I haven't found any kits that are perfect yet. Odd spring sizes and improper gaskets are just a few of the issues.

Thanks so much for the help.
In the past I have been lucky using the newer kits with my spring and needle pin and a manual spec float setting. But part variance has caught up to me this time.
