Carter YS 637 carb

Post by CoastieReid »

hello again all.

Looking for a carburetor or a core for a Carter YS 637 or similar that I can get working on my jeep.

My carb is a Carter W-o. Not familiar with these at all.
The folks at all the jeep joints like midwest military all want a core back to purchase a YS but mine is not that style.

Ideas?

Keep checking ebay. They show up often but are pricey.

Your WO will work and work well on your L134 until you find a 637. If you do decide to sell your WO don't let it go cheap, they're getting more rare by the day.
Talk to my good friend Scoutpilot, he sometimes comes up with a 637 for sale.

Yup. Fair price as they go nowadays.
I hesitated to post it and add to the advertising because they're in such demand it could disappear fast.
I hope April logs on in time to see it.
Maybe I should've sent a PM instead.

lol... I’d give you a deal.

And yes, the g503 poster came back to my PM and said I got it- just need to pay.

Thanks for the heads up!
