Air Force M38 to McConnell AFB open house

Post by Kendall »

Last weekend was the open house at McConnell Air Force Base here in Wichita. I took my two M38s. My Air Force jeep probably spent some time here so I put bumper markings on it to represent the unit stationed here in the early '50s.

Yes the jeep is sitting in front of a T33. I thought it appropriate since the time period for both were similar.
The fun of being an exhibitor at the open house is having the ability to drive around the tarmac before the public shows up for some photo ops.
