I had the pleasure this weekend of attending a barbarque hosted by the Military Transport Association of Northern N.J. There were approximately 35 military vehicles of all vintages there, including four M-38 jeeps like mine. Of course the first thing I did was look underneath each one to see how much their transmissions leaked! 
After examining each tranny, I can now say that you will never hear me complain about my tranny leaking again!!! I couldn't believe how much tranny fluid was covering those transmissions!!! Regards, Dennis
