Hey, I have been going through the albums inactive since 2015 and deleting photos that are not instructive or are several photos of the same item.
We are still working options and trying to get more toward a final solution.
We appreciate the support and unfortunately for now the photo albums are still closed - at least until I can free up more space.
Until then you don't need to delete your photos, but if you have some that are unnecessary I would ask that we continue to conserve storage space.
Thanks!
Ryan

Hi Ryan,
Did I mention to you the Machinist website I’m on?
Chaski?
http://www.chaski.org/homemachinist/
It’s a closed member list like this one, that public can see, but not post or contact members unless they belong.
Lots of photos and video capacity.
No cost to members, but donations are accepted.

Thanks for all the suggestions to everyone!
Walsh has been able to work with a website designer that was willing to help us. Things are still in beta testing and the forum part is looking good. Still working on the downloads section and the photo albums.
Plan going forward right now:
Strongly considering to close the forums, keep them available for viewing and searching by the public, but no more posting.
Same with the rest of the website. Plan is to gradually add articles like on the CJ3B.info web page to answer many of the commonly asked questions.
Now if any of you are interested in writing short articles using the forum postings, downloads, etc. we can link to the article, I am considering some member access or send me/Wes articles - at the least I or Wes would need to review the article prior to posting.
Bottom line is that we can still make this a great resource, but decrease the work load with membership approval and monitoring.
Your thoughts?

Brian,
I totally understand your point and it is valid. We just don't get the traffic much anymore as most everyone goes to FB and Reddit, etc.
First we are getting things updated to the latest PHP, adding options for info page articles to navigate and going to a cheaper server.
Hopefully all of that in the next month.
Then we can go from there.
