Correct tires and part ID.

Hey guys i have a couple more quick questions for you guys.

1. First question. The tires in the picture, could these be considered right time frame and correct type of tires for this jeep (i think i like these better, but want to stay original.)? My jeep is a 54 38-a1.

2. Second question. What in the heck is the part called in the picture?...

Hello Justen,

No they are civilian mud and snow tires. They would be period correct for a 55 to 71 CJ5.

That's an oil pressure sender (also called a transducer and a transmitter). It coverts the oil pressure to an electrical signal the gage can interpret.
