Windshield Problems

Post by mtnraptor »

Hello, I have a few questions about some damage on my windshield. The channel that the top slides into is gone and the windshield frame where is was is severly pitted. The questions that I have are. (1) is there a manufacture that makes a channel? I have not been able to find one. (2) Is it that I just bite the bullet and find a new windshield frame. If it is new frame any sugestions on who to go through or is there anyone that has one that would like to sell or trade it. Here is a pic of the damage.

Thanks for any input,

Grant J

D & L Bensinger has nos channels listed on their website for $30.-

I bought one from them for my m38 (not A1) a few
years ago. It was pretty rusty for being called nos, so be sure to
ask about its condition.

I thought I was the only one in the United States that ever had that problem from him...
