Hi this is Aris once more, now with a new registration as 'arisLgr', because my previous registration 'arisL' was not going well in the forum.

Way back in 1973 my M38 came with a Holley that I promptly changed to a Delorto and only recently I've switched to the YS.
The jeep is ‘commissioned’ on a Greek island and driven a lot by the whole family during the summer. We all love it except my wife who keeps calling me to rescue her, stranded somewhere unable to restart it. I always manage to restart it, but frankly never knowing why, till your revealing posts about the vacuum operated primer!

More so, thanks to you I now know that I have the YS637S, so here are more confirming pics:

Now that I have it apart, please advise me also on the following finds:

1. Metering Rod number 75595S, is it OK?
2. Metering Rod Jet number 120 157, OK?
3. The float was set at 0.205 (13/64) inch, instead of 1/4, could the high level make starting also difficult?
4. For easier starts after storage, I have an electric fuel pump, what is the max pressure the YS637S can take?

3 - Your float setting is not high. It is low at 13/64". A 1/4" setting equals 16/64 ".
