Just an FYI you will not be able to put the pto in place without removing the exhaust. The PTO hits the pipe.

I probably don't need to tell you this,,, but drain some oil out of the transfer case before you mount the PTO unit.

Don,

I like your photo! It shows another exhaust option that I think I really like.

It also reminds me of a 46 CJ2A I parted out that came with a Koenig winch setup. They were very inventive for routing the exhaust. They modified the cross shaft and just pushed the pipe up and left a wee bit.

Do you happen to have a picture of the crossover tube with the jumper in it?

Here is a picture of one that a guy I know in Germany did when he installed a KOENIG civy PTO that was designed for Willys truck/wagon. He couldn't find one designed for the CJ.

Don, That is very similar. I'll have to look around for a photo. That jeep had a Koenig in too. I have several of the Koenigs both truck and CJ. He could have re-indexed that chain box to the gear box to get her lower.
