It will be a few days before I can do up a comprehensive set of plans for the license plate bracket. First it is at home, and I will be busy (hopefully) painting my wife's M38 tub later this week.
Give me a bit of time and I will see what I can do for both better pics and a quick set of plans.

I did offer to send my second one to Rommel to use in fabricating them. I find I can fabricate something much better from an original than from a drawing. example:

Nice work Pat. Can I put those in the web site album?

The drawings are for the 100 or so folks that won't have an original in their hand to fabricate a new one.

Did you have a photo of the front end of the lens?

Thanks for the drawings and measurements guys. I will discuss this with our product development team. However since the canadian M38s are quite a few, will the demand of these license plate holders be limited also? Or do American M38 owners also want to have them?

Sorry for the long absence. I came from China to visit some Jeep accessory makers.

Anyway, just wanted to post our biggest Hydraulic press here. It's 1200 tons. We use it to stamp floorings, hoods, fenders , rims and all the other big parts.

I call him Sonny Boy :) He's the center of our stamping operations.

Here is the completed drawing of the Axle Convoy Light.
Hope this helps some.
I will get started in the coming days on a drawing for the license plate holder.

Let me know if there are any errors or omissions.

Here is a quick drawing of the license plate bracket as found on some of the Canadian M38's.
This drawing is done in 1:1 the same as the convoy light.

Again, if there are any errors or omissions, please let me know and I will correct them.

Hello Pat,
A reference to how the center triangular piece is attached to the main mount and perhaps a small illustration showing the needed measurements to ensure it is positioned correctly before spot welding?

Hi Wes,

What would be the demand for this? I need to know if it justifies making a die for it, or just doing it by hand?

Also photos were not close enough to see any stiffening details IE rolled up lips.

Me! I spoke with Jeeparts in the UK this week, and they were going to get back to me with a price for them. I understand that they have a container from MD Juan due in to the UK some time in June; if you could produce a set of folding door frames for my M38 before that shipment leaves, that would be great.

No, missed that. I'll have a look to see if it's on YouTube.
