It's not an M38A1 starter!

Starter in the ad is for an early M37

Late M38 & all 28V M38A1/M170's MCZ4001UT

That's exactly what I thought Wes.

No way can one use that ebay starter on an M38 or A1 without modification.

eBay.

Another reason I never buy anything without a photo.
