Came across an interesting series of you-tube videos on a pressure test for a L134 block out of an M38 that reveals a crack down the distributor shaft hole, and how it gets repaired.
It's nine episodes, starting with the one below and continuing with the ones sub-titled "NMC". After the crack is repaired the series goes on to rebuilding that engine.
