WTB: M38 Windsheild frame

Post by DFoley »

I asked a few months ago, but did not get much of a response. So I guess I'll ask again. I'm in need of a replacement windshield frame for my 1951 M38. A while back I was towing the jeep and the strap holding the windshield down broke and the windshield flew up at 75mph, and subsequently bent it backwards at a nearly 90 degree angle. I've had many shops look at it and nobody is willing to try and fix it....it's majorly FUBAR! I realize repop windshields are readily available but I would prefer an original. Surely someone has a jeep they are parting out that has a good salvageable windshield frame. Lastly I'm located in Del Rio, TX
Thanks,
Dan

I have one, but it’s up in Toronto… used and would require a bit of cosmetic work and new glass.
