Fuel pump gaskets

Post by usma41 »

Wes, I'm reinstalling the old fuel pump after I rebuilt it. One question, I have to make my own gaskets and I found a new origenal one.they are different in respect to the center cut out. The oringinal one has only the two upper 1/3 cut out, is this suppose to be on both side of the spacer?

The gaskets vary in appearance since there were several updates but hey all should work and in either case you used exactly the same gasket on both sides of the spacer. Any of those gaskets should be just fine as long as the seal the entire contact area of both sides of the spacer.
