Does the frame of a 1952 M38A1 Have a number engraved anywhere on the frame? I have no ID info on the tub and none apparent on the frame.
The Willes motor has a casting number, but I guess so did they all.
Any suggestions? I am going to try to get a title on this lil darlin here in Texas and need all the info I can get.

Willys stopped using frame serail tags in about 1947.
There are only 3 serial numbers found on WILLYS built M38A1's.
1-Dash serial plate set (lower right plate)

2-Willys/Kaiser Patent Plate on front vertical surface of the right rear wheelhouse just behind the back of the passenger seat.

3-Engine serial located on flat above the water pump.
