I have a mount for the right front passenger's location. But I don't subscribe to pin interest and can't see the picture that you are talking about to compare.
I am not sure from the picture you posted. Is the mount in the center of the dash/ cowling or is it mounted on the dash near and over the glove box door. The one I have mounts on the right front dash near and over the glove box door.
Here is a link for the one I have, https://www.bmgparts.com/products/M48Special.jpg
I have the mount for the dash, s(the part in the middle of the picture) not the gun cradle or the mounting plates for behind the dash.
If you guys want to insert a photo just use these bracketing the url for the photo you wish to post.
RG,
Yours is not the same mount. The two M38A1 photos above show what appears to be a carriage mount used on circular mounts and adapted to the jeep's dash. They can be found in this TM
The Canadians had a passenger side of the cowl mount that could be used by the passenger sitting or standing alongside the jeep and still retained the windshield.
