Measuring springs
I have the specs for my springs, but do I have to take them off of the vehicle to measure them, or can I do it with the jeep just stitting there, or jack it up?

The eye to eye measurement is with the spring unloaded. You can get close enough by jacking the differential until the wheel just leaves the ground.
