Fuel Guage sending unit wire

Did the wire from the fuel guage sending unit to the guage have any protection on it where it is exposed from the unit to under the dash?

Yes, it had a length of 3/16" loom if I remember correctly...

From the sender to just under the dash following the side of the jeep...
