Exhaust question
I know John at midwest sells the correct m38 exhaust. My problem is I am going to be using a civvy pto and winch. What I want to know is will the correct exhaust work with my civvy pto or should I just use one for a cj (the cj system being about $50 or so cheaper)

Hi Bill
The civy PTO has too much drop and the exhaust will not clear it so you cannot run it up over the cross member

This is the way I ran mine when I was using the civilian PTO. I cut the original long pipe and rotated the end that connects to the downpipe approx 180 then used a union to connect the pipe back together and used the rest of the original exhaust. Not very pretty but it worked for me till I got an original PTO.
