Have the opportunity of replacing my damaged air cleaner with a WW2 type air cleaner in very good condition.
Except for the M38 snorkel attachment, are both Air Cleaners (internals) essentially the same size??

There are three different WWII type cleaners. The latest one from around 1944/45 is the same one used in the early CJ2A. So if you are using the latest one then the internals should match but the mounting may need adjustm, ents as will the plumbing and fittings arrangements.
