Emergency tool kit?

Post by linx310 »

I am thinking about putting together a road side tool kit for my M38A1 that will fit in the location of the first aid box.

I was thinking of purchasing:

A cheap set of SAE sockets
A cheap set of SAE wrenchs
A combination wrench
A pair of vise grips
A extra piece of fuel hose (for siphoning or if a hole develops in one of the original lines)
Wire cutters
Scissors
WD40
Tire patch kit
Duct Tape
Bailing Wire
Electrical Tape

Any one else have a roadside kit for their jeep?

a Klien 11 in one screwdriver from home depot is a must and don't settle for anything less. I've tried the others and this one is the best and its only $11.00.

Emergency tool kit?

Where does the first aid box go in an M38A1? I am new to this, and thought it didn't have a specific spot. If there is one, I need to know before I start rebuilding my jeep
I SWEAR it said Tab A went into Slot B!

No specific spot that I've heard of either. Mines in the glovebox.
