Progress!

Post by jeeps8 »

Just wanted to take a few minutes to share my elation that I'm actually making progress with some people that share my hobby. And maybe a little positive reinforcement. Also wanted to say thanks to everyone that answered my questions so far in my countless searches.
I've gone through the whole chassis and was pleasantly amazed at how well everything has held up through the years. guess that's what happens when things are made well and not out of plastic. replaced bearings(old ones looked fine), seals and gaskets. The rear diff block was broke but only 4 bucks for a new one. A few other odd and ends, but all in all in great shape.

I think my Jeep is haunted, notice the orbs. I'm sure there is no dust in my garage. Must be a couple ghosts!

The semi-finished product. Not sure what the hole in the rear crossmember is, but it is original so i thought i might keep it. Let me add that painting sucks.

Now on to this, oh boy. Luckily the motor is done and ready.

Thnx again all for the help so far.
